PIAP Connect will take place for the first time on April 11, 2024, at Red Tower Łódź, located at 148/150 Piotrkowska Street.

The event aims to create a platform for PIAP members to get to know each other, establish new business contacts, and exchange experiences related to the promotional products industry. Networking sessions will be accompanied by internal trade fairs. Participants will have the opportunity to visit their booths with offered products and services.

#PIAP Connect also fulfills an important mission, which is to support the DKMS Foundation's efforts to save lives through the registration of potential bone marrow donors. During the event, participants will have the opportunity to speak with representatives of the DKMS Foundation and register as potential bone marrow donors.

The DKMS Foundation is an organization that has been pursuing its mission in Poland for 15 years to ensure that every patient in need of a bone marrow transplant finds a matching donor. It operates in the interest of the highest good, which is human life, and helps save the lives of people with blood cancer by registering new potential donors, who thereby become a real chance for life for patients in need of stem cell or bone marrow transplantation. Thanks to educational activities, awareness-building initiatives, registration drives, and social campaigns, over 1.9 million people have already been registered in the DKMS Foundation database, and among them, over 13,000 donors have given real hope for recovery to seriously ill patients. Despite such a large number of willing donors, every fifth Polish patient still does not find their "genetic twin," and every 40 minutes, someone in our country receives a blood cancer diagnosis.

Therefore, it is crucial to encourage new people to join the bone marrow donor database. For many patients, the only chance of life is the help of another person - a bone marrow donor. - Katarzyna Molenda, Senior Coordinator for Donor Recruitment at the DKMS Foundation.
