The Japanese Live in the Future of Large Format Printing – You Can Too
The aim of the meeting is to explain how to streamline and speed up the production process, reduce unnecessary material usage, and create opportunities to gain new customers. To find out how to achieve this, the philosophies of three brands that dominate the Japanese large format printing market – Epson, Graphtec, and Eizo – will be analyzed.
The Japanese Trio is a series of presentations showcasing Epson SureColor SC-R resin printers, Graphtec cutting plotters, and Eizo graphic monitors. Participants will learn how to utilize each of these machines individually – and ideally within a single ecosystem – to automate the large format printing process, save resources, and attract new clients.
The Epson SureColor SC-R resin printer is a fantastic alternative to solvent printing. Why? Primarily, it speeds up job completion – resin prints dry almost instantly, unlike solvent prints which require a longer evaporation time before moving on to the next stage. Another advantage is the production of prints suitable for sensitive environments due to its eco-friendly and low-emission printing, certified for safety. Solvent printing is not suitable for places like hospitals or kindergartens. Additionally, the Epson SC-R series printer boasts unparalleled print quality and excellent color reproduction thanks to its additional light inks.
Graphtec cutting plotters provide maximum cutting precision, with a legendary reputation for reliability. With the right software, you can ensure seamless workflow continuity between the printer and the plotter. It also allows for automatic placement of prints and markers to minimize material waste.
The Eizo graphic monitor is where print designs come to life, so impeccable color accuracy is essential to achieve on the print what you see on the screen. Beyond top-tier technological specifications, Eizo has automated monitor calibration to match screen colors to printer needs. Additionally, connecting multiple Eizo monitors in the cloud ensures that, for example, both the graphic designer and the printer see the same colors.
Participants will learn how to streamline their operations and ensure that their equipment forms a cohesive ecosystem from start to finish! The event will also showcase print media that can enhance projects. Additionally, the Caldera system will be demonstrated, showing how it can help achieve perfection in automation.
The event will take place in four different cities:
June 11 – Kraków
June 12 – Warsaw
June 18 – Gdańsk
June 19 – Swarzędz near Poznań
